Senior Engineer – Material & Manufacturing Process
You will be joining a world-leading technology company at their R&D site in Munich.

Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate advanced materials and processes for integration into our products, with a particular focus on base station antennas and consumer electronics.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including interconnection technologies such as bonding, micro laser welding, and advanced soldering.
- Build and maintain partnerships with top universities, research institutions, and industry leaders to foster innovation.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in materials science, such as high-performance plastics, plating systems, and lightweight structures.
- Conduct feasibility studies with a clear focus on the requirements for future products and production processes.
- Assist in transitioning validated technologies into production and product engineering processes.
- Perform experiments and trials to evaluate new materials and processes.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in process engineering or materials science.
- Strong technical skills, including experience in process optimization and materials characterization.
- Preferably experienced in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the RF-electronics or connector industries.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for advancing future technologies in materials and processes.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
