Localization Engineer (SLAM)
I am looking for an experienced engineer with experience in SLAM to join a leading client within the Autonomous Driving Industry in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a leading autonomous driving project, working with one of the largest tier 1 manufacturers in the US. This role is available in varying seniorities.
As a Localization Engineer (SLAM) you will:
· Develop the infrastructure for HD maps, building meta-data and data stores at scale.
· Create scale pipelines for the running of localization and machine learning/ computer vision algorithms.
· Take responsibility over key components acting as the point person and process millions of data streams.
Required skills for this Localization Engineer (SLAM) role:
· Knowledge of SLAM and ICP (Iterative Closest Point)
· Experience using Kalman Filter/ Particle Filter
· Experience in Computer Vision/ Image Processing/ Image Matching/ Image Stitching/ Visual Odometry
· Experience working with GPS and Lidar
· Strong C/C++, Matlab/Simulink etc.
