Cyber Security Researcher – Automotive

I am working with a leading navigation and mapping company who are looking for multiple Cyber Security Researchers to join their expanding division at their site in Eindhoven, Netherlands. 

This would involve working in a multi-disciplinary team finding different vulnerabilities and problems with the hardware and software of the different vehicles in the market, existing and proposed protocols, as well as find countermeasures and ways to correct them.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and exploit vulnerabilities of in-car communication technologies
• Identify potential problems and attacks in vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communications 
• Create and test prototype solutions to increase vehicle and communication security 

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar 
• Experience with reverse-engineering for embedded hardware and software (x86, ARM)
• Strong knowledge of cryptography – protocols, PKIs
• Experience with C++ and Python
