Senior Cryptography Researcher – Secure Computation / Python – Initial 12 month contract

A multinational technology company is looking for a Senior Cryptography Researcher to join their Software Centre in Brussels, focused on delivering privacy-preserving technologies. This is for an initial 12-month contract but is very likely to extend. 

Responsibilities:

• Explore Secure Computation solutions (Secure Multi-Party Computation or Homomorphic Encryption)
• Selection and design of optimized secure computation algorithms
• Develop proofs of concept

Requirements:

• An MSc or PhD 
• Ideally 3+ years of experience with Applied Cryptography in the field of  Homomorphic Encryption, Multiparty Computation or similar technologies
• Programming skills with Python 
• Experience with experimental methodology and strong analytical skills 
• Knowledge of neural-network based Machine Learning (desirable)
