Automotive Radar Expert – CONTRACT / Target Detection / MIMO Radar System / MATLAB / Classification

We are recruiting for an Automotive Radar Expert with extensive experience within the Automotive Radar industry, good experience in target detection, classification, tracking, MIMO radar systems, or signal processing and excellent programming in MATLAB to join my client in the Gothenburg area of Sweden on a long term freelance contract.

My client is a global name in mobile and tech development, and as an Automotive Radar Expert, you will be responsible for leading the researching on radar systems and architecture and researching new technologies and systems.

Qualifications
· MSc or PhD in Communication Engineering, Signal Processing, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent background with +10 year of experience.
· 10+ years of experience in automotive radar industry
· 3 years in an automotive radar expert role
· Solid knowledge of all related technologies, functions, standards, and requirements.
· Deep knowledge and more than ten years of experience in several of the following: target detection and estimation, target grouping, classification, and tracking, array and MIMO radar system and signal processing, waveform optimization, scanning strategy development and optimization, image processing, sensor fusion, video tracking, MUSIC, and high angular resolution algorithms.
· Strong knowledge of RF systems and subsystems such as oscillator, PLL, antenna, amplifier, filter.
· Mentor the project junior and mid-level engineers, and review their work for quality
· Experience with radar system performance evaluation and optimization, and MATLAB programming
