Sr Analog Design Engineer

This is a highly visible role with a leading semiconductor company based in Munich. They are looking for initially a 12 month contract, but permanent can also be an option, the role is as part of a highly skilled team and deliver an opportunity to work on some very complex designs. 

Key Skills

• knowledge of bandgaps, bias, opamps, switched-cap circuits, LDOs, feedback and compensation techniques
• knowledge of low noise design techniques
• knowledge of high precision techniques in presence of device mismatch
• knowledge of ADC/ DAC designs/ architectures, and know which are suitable for given applications
• Experience in behavioral modeling of analog blocks (C, Matlab, VerilogA, etc.)
• Strong device physics knowledge as it applies to analog IC designs
• Good working experience in using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc. to validate analog designs
• Experience in working with production test engineers to firm up test plans and design for testability details

 Tasks

• Transistor-level feasibility studies for various blocks
• Design transistor-level analog blocks and document design towards formal design reviews
• Work with digital designers to create behavioral models of analog blocks
• SOC-hardening of analog blocks, including timing analysis, EMIR, LEC, etc.
• Define production and bench-level test plans 
• Work with test engineers to validate analog designs

* Pay is dependent on the caliber of candidate and negotiable, but this will pay in the top percentile of the market.
