Audio DSP Software Engineer – C / MATLAB / Audio / Acoustics

A leading company in the semiconductor industry is looking for an Audio DSP Software Engineer to join their site in Leuven, Belgium. This is on an initial 12-month contract with extension likely. 

This role would be in a team responsible for the development of audio software focused on digital signal processing for speech and music, and also the development of smart amplifiers.

Requirements:

• Masters in electrical or electronic engineer (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of design experience for signal processing algorithms/design
• Knowledge about audio and acoustics
• Programming with C and Matlab
• Knowledge of ARM cores and development tools and mobile platforms (desirable)
