Audio Researcher – Context Awareness / PhD / audio signal processing / Machine Learning / Acoustics / Sensor Fusion / DSP / C/C++ / Python

We are recruiting for Audio Researcher for Context Awareness to join our client in London on a permanent basis.

Our client is global leader in high-end audio products and as an Audio Researcher you should hold a PhD in machine learning, DSP, computer science for audio, electronic engineering, physics, or related, solid Python knowledge (plus NumPy, SciPy, ScikitLearn, Tensorflow, Keras skills) Cloud experience (AWS or GCP) and ideally have a background in music (playing, production, engineering etc.)

Required skills:

• PhD in machine learning, DSP, computer science for audio, electronic engineering, physics, or a related discipline
•  Excellent problem solving and data analysis skills, with an emphasis on developing or applying statistical modelling, information retrieval, data mining, or machine learning algorithms especially in edge/privacy constrained environments.
• Proficiency in Python and experience using the core scientific computing and machine learning libraries (e.g. NumPy, SciPy, ScikitLearn, Tensorflow, Keras) and cloud based computing resources (e.g. AWS, GCP).
• Ability to clearly communicate, present, and disseminate research findings to both specialist and general audiences.
• Comfortable working with teams across multiple geographies and time zones.

 Desired skills:

• Experience with distributed processing, ML on the edge, or wireless sensor networks
• Experience in real-time processing and C/C++.
• Musical background (e.g. playing, producing, engineering).
