Overview

A top tier Software Engineering company are seeking an Automotive Software Engineer to join their international team working with embedded software on high performance vehicles in Munich, Germany on a permanent basis.

What are the responsibilities of this Automotive Software Engineer Linux role?

Working with this client you will:

• Produce high standard software for use in high performance vehicles
• Testing and calibrating of software on live vehicles
• Work in both a networked manner and individually to coordinate activities
• Ensure performance and security is maintained at high standard

What are the key skills and requirements for the Automotive Software Engineer Linux role?

• Degree education – Computer Science, electrical engineering or relevant subject
• Practical software development in either C/C++ necessary
• Large knowledge of Linux Platform setup including:
  • Kernel modification, user space setup, container
  • Linux IPC, daemons, network, memory management
  • System optimization i.e. performance and resource usage
  • Security, secure boot
• Demonstrable knowledge in developing applications and system services
• Experience with Automotive Software development or ARMv8 would be beneficial
