Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer

We are recruiting for a Computer Vision / Machine Learning Engineer with experience in Face Detection/Tracking, Eye Gaze Estimation, and/or Facial Emotion Recognition to join our client in the Shanghai area of China on a permanent basis.

My client is a Chinese based company who are focused on face detection algorithms for the Wireless and Automotive market.

As a Computer Vision / Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Investigate, develop and improve of Real-Time Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms
• Face Detection/Tracking
• Eye Gaze Estimation
• Facial Emotion Recognition (Drowsiness, Engagement…)
• Optimize the developed algorithms for their use in embedded systems

Required skills:

• MS/PhD Degree in Computer Science or related (Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.)
• 3+ years’ experience with MS Degree or 1+ with PhD in Computer Vision and Machine Learning
• Experience in Geometric Computer Vision algorithms: Camera Modeling, Pose Estimation, 3D reconstruction
• Knowledge across Machine Learning and especially within Time Series Analysis is a big plus
• Strong C++ programming
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Fluent in Chinese and English language
