The key skills required for Dev Ops Engineer positions include:

• Previous experience as a Dev Ops Engineer & knowledge of best practices
• Strong background with Linux/Unix
• Strong programming/scripting skills – Python, Bash, Perl, Shell etc.
• Experience with configuration management (chef, puppet, Ansible, Terraform etc)
• Amazon Web Services/AWS experience
