DevOps Engineer – Remote/ Security/ CI-CD/ Docker/ Kubernetes/ Virtualization/ Gitlab

We are currently looking to speak with experienced DevOps Engineers who would be intrested in working with a high-tech security company on an 18-month fixed-term contract basis. They are based in Berlin, but this role can allow 100% remote work in Germany.

Responsabilties:

• Design, creation, and maintenance of the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline based on modern frameworks such as GitLab, Docker
• Ensuring the operation and maintenance of the applications operated, taking into account additional aspects such as monitoring, logging and security
• Optimisation of processes and interfaces in our own area as well as connected systems to increase data quality and automation
• Documentation and adaptation of the system / application landscape
• Implementation of deployment strategies of various development artifacts on all affected systems
• Protection of access by SSO / TLS
• License management as well as user & rights management

Skills:

• Study of information technology, natural sciences, mathematics, or engineering
• Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines and deploying large software applications, preferably with Gitlab
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, ideally experience with Red Hat Openshift
• Experience in using code analysis tools, ideally SonarQube
• Know-how in monitoring visualization tools (e.g. Kibana, Grafana, Splunk)
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
