Digital Design Engineer (ASIC)

A leading technology and communications client is currently looking for a Digital Design Engineer to join a small team based in the UK, working on a variety of projects in front-end digital design.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in RTL design (mostly Verilog), and experience of ASIC design challenges.

Key skills include:

• Experience using Verilog
• Front end RTL ASIC design and verification

Ideal but not required:

• Back end ASIC design experience, as well as knowledge of DFT
• Experience using C
• Knowledge of ASIC Synthesis and low power design

This design engineer role involves working in a small team in frequent contact with other teams such as back-end implementation, analogue design and platform software, and so a basic understanding of these will be beneficial.
