Distribution Engineer, SELinux – Remote

We are looking for a Software Engineer / Distribution Engineer to join our client, a leading Open Source SW company, to deliver enterprise-ready Linux products.

You will develop code, ensure quality and testing is in place, and act on errors from the CI. This role will also include working interactively with upstream communities to enhance, extend and improve Open Source SW projects.

This role is fully remote.

The successful candidate should demonstrate some or all of the following:

• 5+ years experience with Linux as an operating system.
• Expertise with SELinux.
• Solid understanding of access controls (DAC / MAC)
• Proficiency in Shell, Python, Go or similar.
• Experience in Linux system hardening.
• Passion for Open Source development.
