Embedded Software Engineer, C / C++

My client based in central Manchester are looking to hire experts in the development of low-level software and firmware, to work closely with the open source community developing the next generation of software architectures.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• BSc or higher in EE, CS or similar.
• Expert knowledge in C, experience of assembly and C++ would be desirable.
• Strong experience working with bootloaders, device drivers, OS fundamentals and power management.
• Knowledge of kernel development would be highly desirable.
• Experience with GNU toolchain or LLVM and cross compiling would be highly desirable.
• Fluent English.
