For our leading semiconductor client working on connected devices and smartwatches, we are searching for an Engineer specialized in Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and display & touch innovation.

This is a permanent position based at our clients’ HQ in Neuchatel, Switzerland.

To strengthen the design team, we are searching for someone who is technology driven to support development, implementation and industrialization of electronics displays, HMI, touch sensors and interfaces.

The key responsibilities for the Engineer (Display and Touch) are:

• Development of display modules for customers, aligning with customer needs and requirements.
• Develop internal display modules from conception, creation of displays, touch sensors, glasses etc.
• Project monitoring, planning, wide industry knowledge with a focus on innovation.

The key skills required for the Engineer (Display and Touch) are:

• Degree in either electronic engineering, mechanical or similar field e.g. Optics, Physics – Ideally Master’s or equivalent.
• Strong experience with display technologies e.g. LCD, AMOLED, LEDs.
• Strong interest in Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) technologies e.g. touch sensors, gesture, optics, display
• Experience with mechanical design of sensors
