Field Application Engineer, Power Semiconductors – REMOTE / Electronics / Power Modules / Semiconductors / FAE

We are recruiting for a Field Applications Engineer with ideally 5 years’ experience within an FAE / R&D Engineering role and solid experience in power semiconductor electronics to join our client working on a remote basis from within Germany.

Our client is a market leader in power semiconductor modules and as a Field Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the technical design-in process from first product presentation up to product approval, win designs with existing customers and new prospects and on-site technical advice and service at the customers.

Required skills:

• Solid technical experience in power semiconductor electronics (0.5 kW … 100 kW) / B2B industry with long sales cycles up to two years, preferably in industrial power conversion.
• BSCEE or at least five years as Field Application Engineer / R&D engineering.
• Experience in independently working with third parties / customers.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills as well as fluent command of spoken and written English.
• Reliable, open-minded, honest.
• Highly self-motivated and driven as well as organised and well structured.
