Field / Drive Test Engineer

Field / Drive Test Engineer  – 3G / UMTS / LTE / 4G / GCF / PTCRB / UE Modem Test / Field Trials

We are recruiting for multiple Field / Drive Test Engineers with prior experience in either modem systems tests, feature integration, carrier certification, feature tests and/or field trials to join my client in Zurich on initial 6 month freelance contracts. This contract is due to extend and you should fully expect to be onsite for at least 12 months.  

As a Field / Drive Test Engineer you should have some or all of the following skills:

• Experience in 3G/UMTS/LTE protocol testing & Field Testing
• Experience with Infra vendors and network operator is desirable
• Understanding and familiarity with 3G/4G specifications and standardization aspects
• Experience of UE Modem Testing
• Strong understanding and hands-on exposure to 3G/4G physical layer & protocol areas
• Prior experience with other modem chipset/baseband solution providers is a plus
