Functional Safety Engineer

I am currently looking for a Functional Safety Engineer for a leading automotive consultancy company based in Munich. This company works with top tier OEMs on innovative projects using state-of-the-art technologies. 

Responsibilities 

• Acting as the first point of contact for functional safety and checking the quality of internal processes 
• Creating safety analyzes and using the architecture to check if safety mechanisms have been met 
• Conducting assessments, audits, and creating internal awareness of security issues

Requirements 

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering or similar 
• Previous experience in a normative environment (ISO 26262) 
• Understanding of embedded systems including C++ 
• Knowledge in dealing with DOORS, Polarion or JIRA 
• Experience in the automotive industry
