Graphics Algorithm Engineer – Mobile GPU / Shaders / GLSL / HLSL / Vulkan / OpenGL / Metal / DirectX / C++ / Rendering / Unreal / Unity / CryEngine
We are recruiting for a Graphics Algorithm Engineer with prior experience in implementing real-time rendering algorithm, Ray Tracing or Global Illumination algorithms and excellent GPU Shader programming skill using GLSL or HLSL to join our client in the Cambridge area on a long term
contract.
Our client is a global name in mobile and tech development, and as a Graphics Algorithm Engineer you will be responsible for proposing new ideas and developing new graphics/rendering algorithms for mobile GPU and will also publish research papers or patents for new graphics
algorithms.
Please note, due to IR35 legislation, this contract are working on a PAYE solution. You will receive a day rate and be eligible for holiday allowance etc.
We are unfortunately unable to consider candidates requiring visa sponsorship.
Required skills:
- BSc or MSc in relevant discipline
- Years of experience in implementing real-time rendering algorithms, ray tracing or global illumination algorithms.
- Excellent GPU shader programming skills using GLSL or HLSL.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following graphics API: Vulkan, OpenGL, Metal, DirectX11 or 12 and/or OpenCL.
- Excellent programming skills using C or C++
Desired Skills:
- PhD in relevant field
- Experience in rendering algorithms used in game engines (Unreal, Unity, CryEngine) is highly desirable.
