Java Backend Developer – Automotive / Java8 / Build Systems / Linux /AWS / Kubernetes

We are recruiting for multiple Java Backend Developers with prior experience in Java8, Build Systems (Gradle, Maven, Ant), Linux and AWS or Kubernetes to join my client in the Munich area of Germany on a permanent basis.

My client is a well establish start-up operating within the automotive industry. They work on projetcs for some of the biggest names in industry and as a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for the development and architecture of applications for the Internet of Things for the company, amongst other tasks.

Required skills

·        Development experience with Java8 and Build Systems (e.g. Gradle, Maven, Ant)

·        Advanced knowledge of Linux OS

·        First Experience with AWS or Kubernetes

·        Good understanding of database system

·        Basic understanding of network protocols (e.g. TCP, HTTP, MQTT)

·        Good English language skills

Desired skills

·        Experience with GIT and other Version Control Systems

·        Know-how in concurrent programming

·        Backend skills with Apache Kafka

·        Know-how in publish/subscribe messaging
