Java Backend Developer – Java8 / Linux / GIT / Gradle

This position is with a leading automotive company based in Munich with a fantastic developer culture and growing teams.

Required qualifications

• Experience developing in Java8 and Build Systems (Gradle, Maven, Ant)
• Very good knowledge of Linux operating systems (OS)
• Understanding of network protocols (e.g. TCP, HTTP, MQTT)
• Great understanding of database systems.

Desired qualifications

• Experience with GIT and other Version Control Systems
• Prior experience with Automotive industries or vehicle protocols (CAN, FlexRay, LIN)
• Know-how in publish/subscribe messaging
