Kernel Developer – Open Source – Remote

We are looking for a Kernel developer to join our client on a fully remote basis as part of their growing innovation team. This is to join one of the worlds leading Open Source SW companies.

You will be responsible for designing and developing features in the core Linux Kernel, while working both with upstream as well as participating on developing and maintaining kernels for Linux-based products.

The successful candidate should demonstrate some or all of the following:

• 5+ years experience with Linux Kernel.
• Expert knowledge of C programming.
• Good knowledge of open source community principles, with active involvement.
• Good knowledge of assembler language.
• Good knowledge of Linux debugging tools.
