Lead System and Automation Engineer – Micrometer / MicroLED / Vibration / Thermal / Mechanical / Automated Systems / Semiconductor / Machine Design / Vision Systems

We are recruiting for a Lead System and Automations Engineer with prior experience within the semiconductor industry and knowledge of vibration, thermal, and mechanical inaccuracy management to join our client onsite in the waterloo area of Ontario, Canada on a permanent basis

My client is a well funded electronics start-up company focused on developing new technology platforms including micro-LED displays.

Responsibilities: 

• Developing high accuracy system in um resolution with active feedback control and providing advanced technical expertise and solutions to complex engineering problem
•  Developing mechanical, electrical, and software modules and evaluation algorithms for the system

Requirements: 

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with micrometer accuracy machine design with vision systems
• You have experience in vibration, thermal, and mechanical inaccuracy management.
• You have experience in developing production ready and maintainable automated system.
• Previous semiconductor equipment experience
