Linux Automation Engineer, Quality Engineering – Remote

We are looking for a Linux Automation Engineer to join our client, a leading Open Source SW company, as part of their Quality Engineering group to assure and engineer the quality of their Linux product family.

You will develop and enhance the automation tools for various Linux products that run in the public cloud.

You will also design, develop and maintain automation test cases for their Linux product family.

This role is fully remote.

The successful candidate should demonstrate some or all of the following:

• 5+ years experience as a Software Developer, SDET or similar.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux as an operating system.
• Complete understanding of the software quality assurance and development lifecycle.
• Familiar with Linux administration.
• Experience with Kernel development or testing.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, Perl.
• Experience with Container technologies.
