Linux IT Administrator – Dresden 

Are you an experienced Linux Administrator who is looking for a new challenge at the moment? If so then this role is for you.

As an IT/systems administrator you will support our cleitns team in solving challenging engineering tasks.

Job Description:

• Development and administration of a cloud-based Linux IC-design environment
• Maintaining of EDA tool installations (Electronic Design Automation)
• Management of filesystems (NFS, ZFS, Cloud Storage)
• Administration and monitoring of Load Sharing Facilities (LSF)
• Automation of the compute infrastructure cloud-management
• Administration of communication services (Remote Desktop Infrastructure, Web Application Firewall, Filesharing, Customer-Portal)
• Support on further development of script-based design project management

Requirements:

• IT-related training and experience as IT/systems administrator (m/f) or IT specialist
• Skills in hardware and system configuration
• Sound knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g. Redhat, CentOS), usage of databases and scripting languages (shell scripts, Perl, Python)
• Basic understanding of network technology and network system security (firewall)
