Linux Kernel Developer (C, Automotive, Linux, C++, Java, Network Protocols, Low Level Programming)  

We are recruiting for multiple Linux Kernel Developer with experience using C, Linux, C++/Java, Network Protocols, and Low Level Programming for an exciting project in Munich on a permanent basis.  

My client is an exciting automotive start-up company based in Munich working with some of the biggest names in the automotive industry. As a Linux Kernel Developer you will be involved in very demanding projects especially in the field of Car Sharing, Connected Car (Connected Gateway) or Connectivity.

Required qualifications

• Initial working experience in Linux Kernel Development
• Excellent development experience in C
• Good understanding of architectures
• Willingness and interest to deal with operating systems especially Linux
• Fluent English language skills

Desired qualifications

• Completed degree in Information Technology or comparable education
• Good software development experience in C++ and/or Java, also possible as contributor in private (open source) projects
• Know-how in network protocols like TCP/IP, CAN or Ethernet
• Good knowledge in ARM processors and low level programming
• Enthusiasm and interest in modern programming languages
• Good German language skills
