An exciting opportunity to work for a large IT Software Consultancy company based in London as a NoSQL Application Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Use Agile techniques to drive requirements specification and product backlog, encompassing epics and user stories et al
• Develop XQuery, Javascript and REST modules on the Marklogic technology stack
• Design and development of solutions that integrate Marklogic with existing enterprise platforms and systems.
• Ensure unit testing, peer review (of code/development) and any arising test issues are resolved to the satisfaction of the business.

• Lead development team within area of technical expertise ensuring efficient use of resource aligned to the strengths of team members

Essential Skills

• Experience in the development of service-oriented architecture application, good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Patterns
• Strong knowledge/experience of XQuery, SPARQL, XML, Java and NoSQL are essential
• Experience of complex XSD and create complex XML Documents using XQuery, Java and Talend
• Agile Development experience incorporating supporting tools inc. GIT, Innersource  

Desirable Skills

• Experience implementing the Marklogic java-client-API within enterprise applications.
• Hands-on application development experience utilising Marklogic. (Can be trained)
• Strong Agile and Waterfall delivery track record
