Principal Researcher – Network Calculus / QoS / Scheduling

This is an opportunity for a Principal level expert to join a world class research team, helping to develop next-generation theoretical models and performance evaluation of communication networks.

You will work alongside industry leading researchers, taking the lead on research projects involving collaboration between international teams and external partners and research institutes.

Examples of problems you will help solve involve the analysis of a QoS based non-congestion network data plane, improvements to SLA capabilities and more.

Key requirements include:

  • Completed PhD with 5-10+ years of post-degree experience, either in Academic Research or an Industrial role
  • Strong mathematical background, with particular strength in probabilities and stochastic processes / algorithms
  • Proficiency in one or more coding languages – Python is preferred
  • Knowledge of relevant Machine Learning tools and concepts
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site in Paris, France
