A leading technology client is searching for a Principal RF / Microwave Characterisation Engineer to join their team in Ireland.

Your role as Principal RF / Microwave Characterisation Engineer is to Characterise and validate high-performance RF and Microwave integrated circuits and modules.

The key skills required for the Principal RF / Microwave Characterisation Engineer are:
• Understanding of RF and Microwave concepts, parameters and specifications
• Experience characterising RF and Microwave circuits and products in the range 8 – 80GHz
• Experience performing RF and Microwave on-wafer measurements
• Experience performing high-frequency measurements including Network Analysis, Spectrum Analysis, Noise Figure testing, Power testing, Phase Noise testing and Distortion.
• Experience with calibration techniques, especially those applicable to high frequency measurements (both probed and connectorised)
• Skilled in automating engineering measurements; familiar with test automation software
• Experience with RF simulation tools
