RAN 1 Standardization Researcher – 3GPP / Layer1 / 5G NR

 

This position is for a 3GPP RAN1 professional with research experience in the LTE or NR domains. This team will be at the forefront of addressing 5G & 6G standardization, IP rights and standardization proposals. If you have a strong background in the wireless communications field with a focus on RAN1 and Layer 1 Radio networks – apply below!

The ideal candidate will have these key requirements & skills:

  • PhD or MSc in Wireless Communications/Telecommunications or related field.
  • Strong background in Wireless Communiciations, expert understanding of the physical layer, with focus on the device/modem side.
  • Any work with the 3GPP RAN1 group is beneficial, exposure to delegates and RAN1 plenaries are a big advantage.
  • Prior work such as list of patents, standardization contributions and/or academic papers is a significant plus.
