Research Scientist – Computer Vision / Autonomous Driving (Edinburgh)

Our client is a UK Start-up who are now a European-leader in the field of Autonomous Driving, and are looking to expand their Research teams in Edinburgh, Scotland.

You would be working with a world-class research team working on cutting-edge Computer Vision algorithms, intelligent robotics research, SLAM and similar localisation methods, Deep Neural Networks, Supervised/Unsupervised Machine Learning Models, Reinforcement learning, Advanced Deep Learning libraries, and other Autonomous Driving-related applications.

You would have the opportunity to work with world-leading Research Scientists in the field, with a track record of hugely successful start-ups, in a rapidly growing company.

Requirements:

– Ph.D. in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or similar

– Good publication record (e.g. CVPR, NIPS, ICML, AAAI, R:SS, JMLR, IJRR etc.)

– Post-doctroal or relevent industry research experience

– Experience in any of the technologies mentioned above

– Software skills in C++, with some experience in other languages (Python, C, Matlab, Java etc.)
