Senior Backend Software Engineer – Java / JavaScript / Cloud / AWS / Amazon Web Services / Jenkins / Docker / Kubernetes

We are recruiting for a Senior Backend Software Engineer with solid experience in both Java and JavaScript, Cloud (AWS) experience and Kubernetes Jenkins and/or Docker knowledge to join my client in the Karlsruhe area of Germany on a permanent basis.

My client is an American owned SaaS company focused on providing work tools for collaboration, IT management and customer engagement. Some remote options are available with occasional travel to Karlsruhe

Required skills:

• Proficient in languages such as Java and JavaScript
• Experience in clean code principles
• Good knowledge of backend systems and cloud operation (AWS)
• Experience with build tools and containerization solutions such as Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with an agile approach
• Solid English language
