Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS / Docker / Python 

We are working with an exciting medical AI group based in New York who are looking to add an experienced DevOps engineer to their team in New York currently. This role will see you be tasked with eliciting infrastructure requirements by taking into account technical constraints, customer constraints, and regulatory obligations. As well as this you will build self service solutions so all teams can easily deploy, maintain or monitor applications and micro services on AWS platforms. This is a permanent role that will be based on-site in New York.

 

Requirements for this Senior Devops Engineer role:

  • At least 4 years experience in DevOps or site reliability engineering with AWS
  • Experience working hands-on with docker containers (other container experience highly valued)
  • Fully proficient in working with Python scripting (ruby on rails knowledge is a major plus)
  • Good knowledge of working in automation and infrastructure-as-code frameworks such as Terraform
  • Nice to have: machine learning experience or experience with AWS Elastic beanstalk
