Senior Electronics Engineer – EV Charging / Linux-based MPUs / PCB Design

Senior Electronics Engineer – EV Charging Company – Based in Central Berlin Offices (when possible)

I am currently looking for Senior Electronics Engineers to join a fast-growing, successful company in the field of e-mobility. The team design a modern electronic vehicle charging product and related components, and are looking for a senior member to work with little oversight and independent decision making.

Responsibilities

• Support your team members so that they can show their full potential
• Be accountable for designs, specifications and system architectures
• Shape the general direction of how we offer functionality to our customers
• Own the bill of materials and maintain relationships with our suppliers
• Decide independently on the right trade-off between cost and functionality
• Drive creative solutions and the generation of intellectual property

Your Profile

• 8+ years work experience in electronics design
• Comfortable working with little oversight and independent decision-making
• Already brought several electronics projects to mass production
• Previous design and bring-up of MCU and Linux-based MPU systems
• Comfortable with power switching, measuring, connecting and routing
• Comfortable to populate a PCB and use lab equipment from time to time
• Previous involvement in testing and certification for EMI and EMV
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of your working time
• Fluent in a professional ECAD software package

Beneficial Skills (not required)

• Previous experience with GAN power electronics
• Previous experience in the field of EV charging
• Master’s degree in a field related to the role
• Experience with consumer electronic products
• Fluent in Altium Designer
