Senior Perception Engineer (Mapping / SLAM / Autonomous Driving)

I have a great opportunity to join a leading Tier 1 Automotive company based in Palo Alto. The Senior Perception Engineer will be researching and developing object and environment perception software and systems for autonomous vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop novel machine learning / AI models in the areas of Mapping (SLAM), Computer Vision and Geometry
• Apply state-of-the art machine learning / AI models and bring them to production quality for their self-driving cars
• Attend conferences and reading groups to stay in touch with current research

Experienced Required;

• Master’s or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Experience in research or development in a technology area related to Autonomous Vehicles (Mapping, SLAM, Computer Vision, Geometry) 
• Knowledge of current research in machine learning / AI / deep learning
• Experience with libraries such as Tensorflow, Caffe, Keras, scikit-learn, etc. 
• Algorithms background and experience writing high quality code in C++
