Senior Product Test Engineer

European Recruitment are working with a global semiconductor company to find an experienced Product Test Engineer to work within an experienced Testing team at their site in Hampshire. 

You’ll have an opportunity to be involved with all stages of the testing lifecycle (planning, design, development, and execution), and use your expertise to act as an interface between project managers, firmware engineers, architects and customers. 

You’ll be working as a vital part of an expanding software team, and use your expertise to develop and execute a variety of manual and automated tests. 

Skills:

• An in depth understanding of ‘Software Testing Techniques’ 
• Capable of employing test design techniques to produce reliable and robust test suites.
• Basic knowledge of software fundamentals (data types and sizes, control flow etc).
• Experience of writing test scripts for use in automated testing would be beneficial.
• Experience of a high-level software language such as C/C++/Python would be an advantage.
