Senior Quality Engineer – Software Audit and Process

European Recruitment are currently partnered exclusively with a leading product development and service company for the automotive Industry. Based in Berlin they are now looking to add an experienced Software Quality Manager to their established team.

 In this position you will be responsible for the Quality management and Assurance for software operations. You will be reporting directly into the Director of Quality however you will be working closely with technical leads across the company to establish strategies to establish strategies to ensure the quality of software deliverables

• You have completed a BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in a related field
• Proven experience creating quality engineering processes with a sound understanding of software development cycles.
• Good knowledge and implementation experience with Automotive SPICE or ISO9001 in successfully passing 3rd party audits
• Experience in quality assessment and auditing within the automotive, mobile, Aerospace or medical industries
• You have a good command of English

Futhermore, experience across the following field would be of high value:

• Development experience with embedded software
• Experience in providing training
• Experience with ISO26262 for functional safety
• Basic German
• You work well within a team and take a creative, hands-on approach to the benefit of those around you
