Senior Real-Time Embedded / Firmware Engineer

Our client is a major Audio company who are  looking for an outstanding embedded software and firmware engineer to join their R&D team. 

The work will primarily be focused on development of high-performance real-time embedded audio processing and application software running on multicore microprocessors

Requirements:

– Strong coding skills in Embedded C, C++ experiene also useful

– Expert in writing Real-Time embedded software

– Experience with Signal Processing, ideally Audio DSP, and developing software on processors such as DSPs or XMOS

– Knowledge of USB interface protocol and USB device operation

– Ability to comprehend and clearly articulate complex architectural concepts

Also Useful:

– Experience working on software / firmware development in major Audio companies

– Understanding of digital electronics

– Testing and debugging experience in a variety of situations

– Strong personal interest in music and development of audo equipment
