Senior Researcher, Graph Database

We are looking for an experienced Research Engineer with a background in database theory or graph theory to join our clients growing R&D division in Edinburgh.

You will be responsible for systems research, empirical science and analysis for the next generation of graph storage and query.

Ultimately you will be involved in building the overall competence of our clients database solutions.

The successful candidate should have the following skills:

• PhD in Computer Science.
• Experience with database theory, graph theory or distributed algorithms.
• Excellent systems programming skills (C/C++).
• Either an understanding of database internals OR a good publication record in database related areas.
• Fluent English.
