Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack / UI/UX / JavaScript / Networking 
 

We are recruiting for Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience of Networking, Object Oriented Design, Full Stack UI/UX Deign and JavaScript knowledge to join my client in the Staines area) around 40 minutes from central London.

Our client is global name within technology and smart phone development and as a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for creating applications that run in the cloud, modelling real world scenarios and problems with their own modeling language, co-working with UX designers, Product Managers & Project Manager in an agile fashion to create user experiences from scratch and developing mobile applications.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Computer science or similar
• Excellent understanding of networking (building connected applications).
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented design and design patterns (e.g. SOLID)
•  Full stack UI/UX design and development experience e.g. node.js, ReactJS, Bootstrap
• Use of JavaScript and at least one current JavaScript framework in a commercial setting
• Experience with creating app business logic with JavaScript
•  Ability to express mobile app UX in HTML and CSS3
•  Experience in a variety of development languages including such as Go, Python, C, JavaScript, Java and Android
• High disciplined approach to version control (Git, Stash, SVN or equivalent)
•  Knowledge of Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.)

Essential

• Developed (or contributed to the development) of at least one mobile or web application that is publicly available
• Commercial experience (you are or have been a professional software developer)
• Worked within an agile development environment
