Senior Software Engineer (C++ and Python)

European recruitment are currently exclusively partnered with a leading embedded system company who are currently looking to add an experienced Senior Software Engineer to there image and signal processing group. This organisation can be considered a market leader in this field with multiple cutting-edge technologies which are always looking to break new technological barriers through the backing of their trusted employees.

In this role you will be working with an exceptional team of Software Engineers to deliver software models to develop world leading image and video processing algorithms. The successful candidate will be working on a number of exciting innovative projects for simultaneous localization and mapping engine (SLAM) and image signal processor (ISP) solutions.

To have the best opportunity of being successful in this process we are looking for candidates with the following skills:

• 3+ years Software Engineering experience
• Strong C++ development experience
• Strong computer vision experience
• Development skills with Python, Shell, GPU programming, OpenCV, Matlab
• Experience with image processing algorithms
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a related subject such as Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science

Additionally, the following skills would be advantageous:

• Experience in Robotics, SLAM, AI or Computer Vision a plus
• Exposure to Tensor Flow using colab or Keras python
• Proficiency in linear algebra, probability, statistics
• Experience with graphics hardware architecture
• Experience with 3D reconstruction algorithms

Currently we are only looking at candidates based in the UK ideally those who are already based in Manchester and/or close outlying areas, due to the urgency of the position.
