Senior Technical Expert of Geospatial & Location / GIS / Cartography/ Computational Geometry / Computer Vision

We’re currently on the lookout a Senior Technical Expert in of Geospatial & Location for a global technology company that specialises in consumer electronics and telecommunications.

With an interest in map data processing technology, you’ll be improving the quality of map data, developing automated production solutions for vector map data and using research and knowledge to make key technical decisions in order to introduce the latest technology.

It comes with a generous flexible salary package depending on your experience level.

As a Senior Technical Expert , we are looking for people with the following:

• PhD in Geographic Information System, Geographic Information Engineering, Urban Trajectory Visualization, Location based services, Mobile GIS, Cartography, Surveying and other relevant industrial applications with a strong map background
• Proficient in vector map data automated production technology solutions, including but not limited to AI mapping, trajectory data mining, natural scene OCR, data fusion, etc., able to generate navigable map data based on satellite images, open source data, and GPS trajectories
• Familiar with the development trend of map data processing technology in the industry and academia, and able to introduce the latest technology in time
• Hands-on experience in Mobile GIS, Surveying, Electronic Maps, LBS, Cartography and other related disciplines.
