Software Developer, Mobile Robotics & Fleet Management

An exciting opportunity has become available to work with one of the worlds leading suppliers of intelligent automation solutions, company based in Augsburg, Germany. 

The successful Software Developer will be responsible for:

•  Further development of methods for navigation with mobile robots (localization, mapping, SLAM) towards series-production readiness

• Development of applications for logistics

• Development of applications with a fleet of mobile robots

• Testing and validation in practical scenarios

• Project support at the customer site

• Micro-service based software development

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering (Master / PhD)

• Excellent proficiency in the programming languages C++ or Java

• Expert knowledge in mobile robotics

• Good English communication skills (both written and oral)

• Good skills in using Linux

• Ability to communicate, to work in a team and assertiveness
