Software Penetration Tester – Binary Analysis | Reverse Engineering | Security Testing

We are looking for a Software Penetration Tester to fill an exciting and fully remote role – this is a 12 month contract but is very likely to be extended year on year.

Our client is a world leading consumer electronics company, holding the dominant market share in a number of industries and producing cutting-edge technology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for hands on security testing and reverse engineering of both our client’s ARM based software products, but also external devices, too.

What skills are required for this Software Penetration Tester role?

The successful candidate for this Software Penetration Tester role will possess the following:

• 5+ years experience of software security testing and reverse engineering on ARM devices
• Excellent background in binary analysis and binary injection
• Strong C and C++ knowledge
• History working on debuggers, decompilers, disassemblers and deobfuscators
• Previous experience in cryptography and network protocols would be extremely beneficial
• Fluent English is essential
