Staff Application Engineer – PCB / Optical Transceiver Design

My client is a supplier of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors and advanced algorithms for consumer, enterprise computing, communications, and industrial end-markets. They are looking for a Senior Staff Applications Engineer to join their growing team in Bristol.

Requirements for Senior Staff Applications Engineer:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience of High-Speed PCB or Optical Transceiver Design
• Experience in using Cadence Allegro PCB design software
• Experience in using Ansys HFSS 3D EM Simulation Software or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge in Signal Integrity: Design and Troubleshooting high-speed module PCBs
• Experience and knowledge in Optical Systems
• Experience in the measurement and interpretation of S-parameters to achieve robust signal integrity through the signal path and power supply network.
