Test Engineer – PCB Design / Low Noise / FPGA / ASIC

Test Engineer Opportunity at well-funded Neuromorphic Chip start-up

In this role, you will be responsible for

  • Designing and constructing measurement setups for our custom ASICs.
  • Working out test plans together with our design engineers.
  • Post-silicon verification and validation.
  • Characterising timing and analog behaviour of our tapeouts.
  • Analysing measurement results and compiling reports and datasheets

The ideal candidate for this position

  • Several years of relevant industrial experience
  • PCB design (Altium is preferred)
  • Low noise measurements
  • Embedded programming in C, (C++ is a pre)
  • FPGA programming in VHDL or Verilog and using FPGAs in conjunction with a microcontroller core
  • Scripting languages such as Python and MATLAB.
  • Test automation, for example using LabVIEW or MATLAB.
