Verification Engineer

This role is for a senior engineer of 5+ years’ experience to drive the functional verification of processor and system features of future ICs. This is a challenging and exciting small-team role which requires the ability to make careful judgements about what level of proof is required to ensure a given chip design, and implement through to right-first-time silicon.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Taking a key role in the development and specification of methodologies, through to final IC verification, for our clients next-generation of processor technology
  • Key team member in the verification from analysis of block specification, coverage coding through to system sign-off

 

 

Requirements:  

  • Good knowledge of Hardware Verification Languages theory and practice, including usage in RTL verification of processor systems using System Verilog, Python and Perl
  • Strong knowledge of RTL test-plan generation, assertion based and formal verification techniques, coverage analysis
  • Prior experience designing or verifying solutions for high speed (100 mbit plus) IO protocols such as USB2, ethernet, PCIe 
  • Embedded programming experience would be an advantage
