3D CAD Engineer – Direct Edit Modeling
Location: Boulogne Paris
Responsibilities
• Develop Direct Edit modeling technologies in next generation CAD environment (Synchronous Technology, SpaceClaim, Onshape type approaches)
• Design robust and high performance 3D algorithms leveraging geometry kernels (Parasolid, ACIS, CGM) and constraint solver engines (DCM)
• Collaborate with product, kernel, CAE apps, PLM infrastructure and cloud teams
• Investigate defects, reproduce customer cases and maintain reliability across large configuration environments
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years CAD development experience focused on direct editing technologies
• Solid C++ development expertise
• Experience with geometry kernel based algorithm design
• PLM or CAE workflow understanding preferred
• Ability to deliver high performance industrial software and work in global distributed teams
