Acoustic Filter Expert

You will be joining an established RF within a world-leading technology company at their lab Munich.

We are seeking an experienced expert in acoustic filter technology to drive innovation in multiplexer and resonator design, simulation, or advanced packaging. The successful candidate will contribute to achieving industry-leading performance through cutting-edge research and development in acoustic components and systems.
 

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced multiplexer architectures or synthesis methodologies in collaboration with acoustic physics experts.
• Research and design high-performance resonators by exploring new modes, materials, stack configurations, or IDT structures.
• Improve simulation accuracy for nonlinearity, power handling, and acoustic behavior.
• Innovate cost-effective, miniaturized packaging processes for next-generation filters.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working in international teams.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel for business needs.

Expertise Areas (one or more of the following):

• TC-SAW/TF-SAW filter design and development.
• Acoustic resonator optimization, including high Q-factor, high K², low TCF, and enhanced power handling.
• Aacoustic material R&D, covering piezoelectric, electrode, and substrate materials.
• Modeling and simulation using FEM, COM, or BVD-based acoustic filter design tools.
• Advanced filter process R&D, including pre-/post-processing and mass production techniques.
